Women and girls are still carrying the bulk of the world's water
According to a new United Nations report, most of the work of getting water falls on women and girls.
Bethany Caruso is a Research Project Coordinator, Supervisor for the Center for Global Safe Water at Emory University and a doctoral student in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education. During her master's course, Bethany became involved with the Center for Global Safe Water (CGSW) and continued to work with CGSW on a school water, sanitation and hygiene project (SWASH+) after the graduation.
