Burke Norton is Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Perennial Investing at Vista Equity Partners, a leading global investment firm with more than $73 billion in assets under management, which invests in software, data and technology-enabled organizations. Previously, Norton was Chief of Corporate Affairs and Chief Legal Officer at Salesforce and was a member of the company’s executive committee. Previously, Norton was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, where he practiced corporate and securities law, representing clients in the enterprise software, telecommunications, semiconductor, life sciences, entertainment, and e-commerce industries, with an emphasis on complex corporate transactions, including public and private equity and debt financings and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, as well as corporate governance, regulatory, and intellectual property matters.
