Talking the talk: the voice-recognition disruptors looking to outsmart big tech
A new wave of voice-recognition start-ups are aiming to push the field forward both at home and in the workplace.
Candace is the COO at Plug and Play, responsible for overseeing, defining, and executing strategic partnerships and accelerator programs worldwide. Candace is a founder of Plug and Play’s corporate program and has grown it from zero to 280+ corporate partners. The corporate program has become an integral part of Plug and Play’s business model and investment strategy.
Her initiatives at Plug and Play include co-developing and running over a dozen themed accelerators worldwide, including the Internet of Things, Mobility, Brand & Retail, FinTech, Insurance, Supply Chain, Startup Autobahn (Stuttgart, Germany), Fashion for Good (Amsterdam) and others.
Prior to Plug and Play, Candace worked in the financial services industry as a broker, mutual fund wholesaler, and loan counselor. She has previously held Series 7, 63, and 66 certifications for her roles at Charles Schwab and Old Mutual. Candace holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
