Cathrine Seierstad

Lecturer in International Human Resource Management, University of Sussex Profile

I hold a PhD in Business and Management and a MA in International Management from Queen Mary, University of London, a MA in International Relations from University of Warwick, and a Cand Mag in Politics from University of Oslo, Norway.

Prior to joining University of Sussex, I was a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at University of Brunel, UK. I also hold a visiting research position at the University of Witten Herdecke, Germany.

My publications and research fall largely within the fields of leadership, diversity management, women on boards, equality, diversity and inclusion at work, and corporate governance. My current research examines the wider effects of using gender quotas on corporate boards in a variety of countries
