Chester Drum

Assistant Professor, National University of Singapore

Chester Drum is a consultant with the National University Heart Centre, Singapore, and an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. He is a certified consultant cardiologist and internal medicine physician practicing at the National University Hospital in Singapore. Drum’s research interests centre on regulatory science and advanced materials engineering. With funding from the Strategic Positioning Fund of the Biomedical Research Council, A*STAR, his lab develops advanced models of patient specific drug effects by combining electronic medical records with quantified estimations of pharmacokinetic variability in real world patient cohorts. Through technique development in quantitative mass spectrometry, protein engineering and Baysian population modelling,  Asst Prof Drum seeks to create technologies that enable cost effective surveillance of medical treatments in the post-market setting.
