Dimitri Vlassis is the Chief of Corruption and Economic Crime Branch, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime(UNODC). Previously, he was Secretary of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Elaboration of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, Secretary of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), and Secretary of the Ad Hoc Committee on the Negotiation of a Convention against Corruption.
