Francois Amman is CEO of Akila.
Graduating from Paris Institute of Political Studies (IEP) and ESCP, Mr. Amman’s career has been squarely focused on Asia. His time in Asia goes back to 1994, when he joined and developed Groupama activity in Hong Kong, China and Vietnam. In 1997, Mr. Amman joined Joachim Poylo to found Aden Group, returning to the role full-time in 2015 to lead the digital transformation of the Group.
In 2021, Mr. Amman oversaw the launch of Akila, offering a revolutionary new application of ESG-oriented digital twin for the building and construction industries. Under Mr. Amman’s leadership, Akila has quickly built up a client base covering 3.5M square meters in China and Southeast Asia. Akila has been deployed by a number of leading global players including Schlumberger and Ikea, who currently deploy Akila at all 37 of their locations in China.
