Federico J. Díez an economist at the Structural Reforms Unit of the IMF’s Research Department. Prior to joining the Fund, he was at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. His research interests include corporate market power, innovation, entrepreneurship, the organization of firms, and the currency of invoicing. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.
