Hanna Moukanas is a Partner and Market Leader at Oliver Wyman for France and Belgium. Based in Paris, Hanna has been a consultant for over 30 years, working with boards, CEOs, and senior leadership teams conducting complex strategic and organizational transformations around the world.

Hanna works with business leaders on the forefront of global trends, leveraging strategic partnerships and best practices across industries to drive impact. Hanna specializes in strategy development, governance and organizational effectiveness, and post-merger integration and change management, and he serves clients across industries including Automotive, Chemicals and Process Industries, Aerospace, B2B & B2C services.

Hanna is a leading partner in Great Reset Ecosystems, a joint project with the WEF that examines how business leaders and policymakers can work together to realize the Great Reset and revitalize industries in a post-COVID world. He brings expertise in global megatrends and strategy development to identify and capture emerging opportunities via innovative partnerships that solve complex, global challenges, and maximize impact.

Hanna started his career as an engineer in the Middle East. After moving to Europe, he was one of the four founding Partners of MID, a French strategy consulting firm acquired by Oliver Wyman in 1995. In 2000, while based in Boston, he was leading the firm’s Strategy consulting practice; from 2003 in Paris, he led the global Business-to-Business industry practice and also served as head of Oliver Wyman’s France unit for several years.

Hanna holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the American University of Beirut (1982), and an M.B.A. from INSEAD (1986). He is fluent in French, English, and Arabic and holds dual French and Lebanese citizenships.
