Our shared values are under attack. They are also our best defence
As our world becomes increasingly fractured we must rediscover our shared values, says the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.

Led the political dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, which resulted with the signing of the Agreement on Normalization of Relations between Kosovo and Serbia. 2014-15, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Since April 2016, President of the Republic of Kosovo.* First President, Democratic Party of Kosovo. Co-Founder and former President, Party of Democratic Progress of Kosovo (PPDK). Former Member, Interim Administrative Council (IAC). Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (2014). * This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with United Nations Security Council resolution 1244 (1999) and the International Court of Justice Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
