This is how ageing populations are affecting pensions
New research shows that implementing employment programs in older generations is the only way to protect global pensions.
Hervé Boulhol is a Senior Economist, leading the Pensions and Population Ageing team in the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs of the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD). He worked in the Economics Department of the OECD until 2014, and previously in financial markets at the French Caisse des Dépôts and in Natixis. He holds a diploma of Statistics, Economics and Actuary from ENSAE (Graduate School of Economics,Statistics and Finance) and a PhD in international economics from Paris School of Economics.
