M.Sc. degree from the School of Economics at the Gothenburg University in Sweden, majoring in Financial Economics and Business Administration respectively and a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, incorporating studies at University of California, Berkley, USA.
Principal work background includes consultant with McKinsey & Company 1996-2004. Since 2005, living in Europe, China and Japan, various commercial leadership roles within Volvo Group's truck business becoming CSO in 2015. Executive chairman of UD Trucks 2016-2021. Inaugural president of Volvo Energy 2021-.
Married with four children and since 2012 living in Tokyo, Japan.
