
How industrial clusters can help the US reach its net-zero targets
Industrial clusters are gaining traction in the US, but more can be done to scale-up net-zero efforts. A new initiative is supporting these facilities.
Joanna leads initiatives in the Energy, Materials and Infrastructure Platform at the World Economic Forum working primarily with heavy industry partners. Formerly, Joanna worked at SABIC Innovative Plastics in strategic marketing and business development. She completed her PhD as Marie Curie Fellow in Project ESTABLIS focused on the development of polymers for organic photovoltaics and electronics. During the project she was seconded to Heraeus Precious Metals. Joanna holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry from Aston University, UK and MSc in Chemical Technology from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland.
