New research examines the environmental impact of the food we eat.
Karli is a Principal Research Fellow (Associate Professor) in the Industrial Design program within the School of Architecture and Design, RMIT University in Melbourne. Her research interests include life cycle assessment (LCA), packaging, sustainability and food waste. Karli is also Chief Investigator of "LCA in the last frontier: using life cycle assessment to reduce the environmental impacts of scientific operations in the Antarctic" a five year project funded through the Australian Antarctic Science Program 2012/13.
