Marcus is the founder and current Executive Director of a non-profit - Exponential Destiny ( - focused on training for youths from underserved communities to help re-skill as modern-day “startup” entrepreneurs. This volunteer organization originated from an initiative Marcus championed while “adopting” a South Central Los Angeles public high school to establish a new curriculum to teach “exponential entrepreneurship” in 2015 that is still running today, and from this program he has teamed up with the youth from this high school - who are now graduated - to found a non-profit organization that mentors, res-kills/up-skills, and then professionally employs individuals from marginalized communities in emerging fields of virtual reality and the Metaverse (a.k.a. Web 3.0 / Spatial Web) and innovation/digital transformation. In 2021 Marcus and his team at Exponential Destiny worked with the 6th largest school district in the U.S. to design, develop, and deploy a transformative education pedagogy using Virtual Reality, thus pioneering a new "immersive and experiential learning" capability.

Marcus is currently an Executive advising Multicore International, where he is responsible for the development of a "Digital City / Future Community" currently being developed on over 7,000 acres in northern Thailand in conjunction with the development of a new international airport.
