Mazen Darwazah is the Executive Vice Chairman and President of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for Hikma Pharmaceuticals. He is currently a Senator in the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Darwazah is also a member of His Majesty King Abdullah’s Economic Policy Council and the Board of Directors and Trustees of Birzeit University and a Trustee of Kings Academy. In addition he previously served as member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Jordan, Vice Chairman of the Capital Bank of Jordan and served as a trustee of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He also served as the president of the Jordanian Association of Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances (JAPM). Darwazah holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Lebanese American University in Beirut and an (AMP) from INSEAD. He is a recipient of Al-Hussein Medal for Distinguished Contributions of the first order.
