Technology can be a great ally in the drive for greater inclusion and diversity
Technology can be biased, but it can also help companies to improve inclusion and diversity in the workplace - and, in turn, to boost their bottom lines.
Rachel is the global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Maersk, a global transportation and logistics company. Rachel is British and has had over 15 years of experience in Diversity and Inclusion. Her career has enabled her to spend 4 years living and working in South Africa where she was Head of Organisational Culture for the Standard Bank Group and nearly 3 years living and working in Denmark for her current role. Her past experience spans across the Financial Services Industry, Telecommunications Industry and as a lay member on the Equality and Diversity Committee for the Bar Standards Board. Rachel is currently a member of the Conference Board’s Global Centre for Diversity and Inclusion’s Advisory board.
Rachel has a first-class BA Honours in Accounting and Finance and was presented with a social science faculty award upon graduation.
Rachel is now living in the UK with her husband and six year old son.
