Richard Houston is the Senior Partner and Chief Executive of Deloitte North and South Europe and Deloitte UK.

Richard played a pivotal role in bringing Deloitte NSE together over the past three years, uniting operations in Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Malta, the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), Switzerland and the UK. Deloitte NSE is the second largest member firm in the Deloitte Global network.

Richard is responsible for connecting the breadth and depth of capabilities of over 45,000 people and 2,500 partners to deliver value for clients and make a difference in the communities in which Deloitte operates.

In his previous role, Richard led Deloitte’s UK and North West Europe Consulting practices, delivering both strong revenue growth and a strong sense of partnership across multiple geographies. He has over 20 years of experience in Consulting and, in particular, Financial Services.

Richard has been a partner at Deloitte since 1998. He joined the firm in 2002, having previously worked as a partner with Andersen and has spent eight years in industry working for HSBC and Royal Bank of Scotland.
