Rositsa Zaimova

Founding member and Senior Project Manager, Dalberg Data Insights, Belgium

Rositsa Zaimova is a Founding member at Dalberg Data Insights (DDI) where she leads the execution of DDI projects and the management of a complex ecosystem of end users, donors, data providers and regulators. Her work focuses on public health, access to finance, food security and urban planning.

Rositsa has recently worked with USAID, the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) and has led the development of analytics tools that support governments and private actors across Africa and South America. Rositsa is currently leading the DDI team tasked with developing an epidemiological model for Zika & Dengue risk flows using mobility flows from telecom data.

These insights support the health surveillance and vector control teams at the State of São Paulo to better target their actions in eradicating infectious diseases. Before joining DDI, Rositsa was a product manager at Adtelligence, a German technology start-up and a tech pioneer of the World Economic Forum. Later, she became a project manager at Real Impact Analytics, a company developing big data apps for telecom operators mostly in emerging countries. She holds an MSc from ESADE Business School in Spain and is a Global Shaper of the Brussels Hub.
