Stephen Potter is Emeritus Professor of Transport Strategy, undertaking research on the design processes involved for the diffusion of cleaner transport technologies and sustainable travel practices. This includes participation in the Milton Keynes electric vehicle and MK: SMART projects, as well as more sustainable travel practices through the development of travel plans and the design of transport environmental taxation. As well as transport research, Stephen also undertakes studies in other sustainable design issues, including work on the smart grid Project Falcon and supporting the Milton Keynes Low Carbon Living programme. Stephen is a major contributor to the OU\'s new module \'Innovation: Designing for Change\'.
