C.P. Group is one of Asia's leading conglomerates that consists of over 200 companies operating in 22 countries in 13 different business groups. The main ones are: agri-food, retail and telecommunications.
Mr. Suphachai is currently also Chairman of the Executive Committee, True Corporation (former President and Chief Executive Officer) and oversees group-wide strategies on sustainability policies and corporate communications. Member, Thai Government’s Independent Committee for Educational Reform; Chairperson, Global Compact Network Thailand.
In 2013, he helped launch Thailand’s first telecommunications infrastructure fund (Digital Infrastructure Fund) and established True’s corporate social responsibility initiative that helped deliver education to underprivileged children in 6,000 schools in rural areas of Thailand.
He is also a recipient of various honours and awards, including: Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Telecom CEO of the Year award (2015), Asia Pacific ICT Awards; Honorary Doctorate in Mass Communications, Ramkhamhaeng University (2016). President, Telecommunications Association of Thailand. Counsellor and Member of the Advisory Board, One Young World Summit 2015. Bachelor’s in Business Administration, focusing on Financial Management, Boston University.
