Africa Finance Corporation - AFC is a pan-African investment-grade multilateral financial institution established in 2007 via a treaty among sovereign African states to provide pragmatic solutions to Africa's growing infrastructure deficit by developing and financing infrastructure, natural resources and industrial assets. It has 37 African countries as members and has grown to become a leading provider of private sector-led infrastructure investment solutions in Africa – deploying nearly $10 billion in 36 countries on the continent. In 2022, AFC had an A3 credit rating assigned by Moody's and is the third highest-rated multilateral financial institution in Africa.
