Amadeus is a provider of information technologies (IT) for the global travel and tourism industry. Its products and solutions help improve the business performance of its customers: travel agencies, corporations, airlines, ground handlers, hotels, railways, car rental companies, airports, cruise lines and ferry operators. The company is structured in two areas: its global distribution system and its IT Solutions business area. Amadeus provides search, pricing, booking, ticketing and other processing services and offers computer software that automates processes such as reservations, inventory management software and departure control systems.
