British Council

The British Council, the United Kingdom's cultural relations body, founded in 1934, has a mission to build trust and engagement between the United Kingdom and the world. Its Global Changemakers programme, which seeks to empower youth to catalyse positive social change in their communities, is a network of over 600 young social entrepreneurs and community activists in 110 countries worldwide who engage over 200,000 individuals in their grassroots work each year.
