Established in 1994, China Development Bank (CDB) is a leading development finance institution of the Chinese Government. CDB deploys medium- and long-term financing to serve national development strategies, with a long-standing commitment to the development of infrastructure and basic/pillar industries. CDB operates its businesses through its headquarters in Beijing, 37 tier-one branches and two second-tier branches across China, an offshore branch in Hong Kong, and representative offices in Cairo, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro and Caracas. Worldwide, CDB employs a staff of 8,000.
