Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences

The Institute of Medical Information (IMI) was established in 1974 by integrating the former Medical Information Department of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) founded in 1958 and the library of CAMS and Peking Union Medical College (PUMC). It has developed medical information research and consulting services for tactical decision-making in fields including medical informatics, medicine information investigation and analysis, health policy and management research and health informatics.
