City of Baghdad

The government of Iraq was formed after the constitutional elections held in December 2005, a key milestone in the political process endorsed by UN Security Council Resolution 1546. The government of Iraq consists of a legislative body, the 275-member Council of Representatives, a Council of Ministers headed by a prime minister, and a three-member presidency.
