Drishti

Despite the robotics hype, humans are still manufacturing’s most important element. Drishti’s research with A.T. Kearney shows that 72% of manufacturing tasks are performed by human operators and that humans introduce 68% of the defects. Drishti aims to find out what would happen if the massive information gap that leaves manufacturers unable to optimize human processes at scale were closed. How would that change the trajectory of factory automation? Or the future of humans in the manufacturing workforce? Drishti uses computer vision and deep learning to create data from human activities, to benefit line operators and the business around them.
