Eurasian Development Bank

The Eurasian Development Bank is an international financial institution founded by Russia and Kazakhstan in 2006 in order to foster economic growth and integration processes in the Eurasian region through investment activity. The Bank member states are: Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Belarus. Its charter capital exceeds $1.5 billion. Its head office is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with an affiliate in St Petersburg and offices in Moscow, Astana, Dushanbe and Yerevan. It focusses on electric power, water and energy, transport, high-tech and innovative industries.
