Gearbox

Gearbox is a space around which a supportive ecosystem for hardware entrepreneurs, specifically in electronics, has been built. It was officially launched in December 2016 and includes a prototyping facility focused on printed circuit board design and fabrication, granting small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and entrepreneurs access to tools that would typically be beyond their reach. It also includes a learning centre bringing design and fabrication techniques to the local community, and incubation, investment and business development services for entrepreneurs.
