The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) provides research-based policy solutions to sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition in developing countries. Established in 1975, IFPRI has 500 employees working in 50 countries. It is a research centre of the CGIAR Consortium. Its mission is to provide research-based policy solutions that sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition. Its headquarters are in Washington DC and it has offices in Beijing, New Delhi, Dakar and Addis Ababa.
