JEPLAN

Established in 2007, JEPLAN is a leading textile and plastic recycling company. It recycles clothing with high efficiency and manufactures new clothing items. In particular, it takes the polyester contained in clothing and recycles it to manufacture polyester of the same quality as that of petroleum origin. It collects clothing items from consumers in cooperation with apparel brands. Its products reduce petroleum consumption and expand consumer awareness to form a circular economy. Its subsidiary PRT Refine Technology produces highly purified BHET to re-from PET resin via a chemical recycling process, with the aim of reducing plastic waste in the oceans.
