Kitchen Community

The Kitchen Community is a non-profit organization that builds Learning Gardens in urban schools at scale, adding highly innovative outdoor classrooms that connect kids to real food and empower them to make healthier food choices. Learning Gardens are the platform from which the organization leverages the power of real food so that every child will have the opportunity to learn, play and grow in a healthy community. To date, the Kitchen Community has built 450 Learning Gardens in Denver, Los Angeles, Memphis, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis, reaching over 200,000 students daily.
