Landesa

Landesa is an international non-governmental organization that fights poverty and provides economic opportunity and security for the rural poor through the power of land rights. Landesa partners with progressive governments and civil society to develop pro-poor and gender-sensitive laws, policies and programmes that strengthen land rights for the poorest people. Founded in Seattle, Landesa has helped secure land rights for more than 120 million families in over 50 countries. Landesa has active projects in China, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique and Myanmar.
