Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at Singapore University of Technology and Design

The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is a publicly-funded university in Singapore. SUTD was established in collaboration with MIT (USA) and Zhejiang University (China), to advance knowledge and nurture technically-grounded leaders and innovators to serve societal needs. It does so through a focus on Design, an integrated multi-disciplinary curriculum, and with multi-disciplinary research.

The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC) is a research centre of excellence in SUTD. LKYCIC is only one of two institutions in Singapore that carry the name of our founding father Lee Kuan Yew. LKYCIC works closely with partners in industry, business and government agencies in research and education projects, and seeks to stimulate thinking and research on the critical issues of cities and urbanisation and explores the integrated use of technology, design and policy to provide urban solutions.
