Nilus

Nilus is a social enterprise based in Argentina that uses technology and sharing economy models to reduce food loss and waste. Nilus operates directly in Mexico City and Buenos Aires. In 2023, it began expanding across Latin America in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme. Additionally, it seeks to expand globally by digitally empowering other organizations in the food distribution space – such as government and philanthropic organizations. In 2022, Nilus provided an average savings of 24% to over 115,000 beneficiaries in Buenos Aires and Mexico City.
