Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)

Founded in 1824, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is the oldest technological university in the US. It offers degrees from five schools: Engineering, Science, Architecture, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. It also houses the Lally School of Management and Technology and provides an interdisciplinary degree in information technology. It has 500 faculty members and its programmes serve 5,300 undergraduate students and 1,100 full-time graduate students.
