How and why data must flow freely and responsibly across borders
G7 governments convening at Gunma on 29 April 2023 have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to secure trusted data flows for shared prosperity.
The St. Gallen Endowment for Prosperity through Trade (SGEPT) pursues prosperity, freedom and peace between nations, promoted by undistorted, cross-border economic activity in all its forms. The foundation promotes the principles of predictability, transparency and equal treatment of all involved in international economic activity. The foundation aims to be the world's first reference point for information and expertise on industrial policy. SGEPT is a charitable foundation under Swiss law and was launched with the support of the University of St. Gallen, the Max Schmidheiny Foundation and Simon Evenett in 2020. Its main initiative to date is the Global Trade Alert.
