Tamagoya is a leading company in the bento box (lunch box) industry in Japan. Established in 1975, it has daily output of 65,000 bento boxes with less than 0.1% ratio in loss (waste) factor. The company is well known for its unique logistical delivery system. Because of its uniqueness, Tamagoya is often present in mass media and was the subject of a Stanford University case study on business administration and executive management. Its bento box is well known for its quality at reasonable price.
