Why it's time for international development to put people first
International development needs to shift its approach from defining problems and intervening to developing the agency and leadership of those affected.
Teach For All is a global network committed to developing collective leadership to ensure all children fulfill their potential. The network of more than 60 independent, national organizations recruit and develop promising leaders of all academic backgrounds and career interests to teach in their nations’ under-resourced schools and communities and, with this foundation, to work with others, inside and outside of education, for needed systemic change. Teach For All’s global organization works to increase and accelerate the progress of the network, which includes organizations across Africa, Asia Pacific, the Americas, Middle East and North Africa, and Europe.
