Tokyo University of the Arts (Tōkyō Geijutsu Daigaku) is a prestigious art school in Japan. Located in Ueno Park, the university was formed in 1949 by the merger of the Tokyo Fine Arts School (Tōkyō Bijutsu Gakkō) and the Tokyo Music School (Tōkyō Ongaku Gakkō), both founded in 1887.
