Founded in 1833, the University of Zurich (UZH) is Switzerland's largest university, with a current enrolment of over 25,000 students. Made up of seven faculties covering approximately 100 different subject areas, UZH has more than 4,600 researchers and instructors, including 630 professors, who provide learning opportunities in the various bachelor's, master's and PhD programmes offered.
