Short bio (half page ):

Dr. Abdulla Elyas is a Saudi born and raised in Germany. He graduated with a MSc in Computer Science and holds a PhD in Business Administration honored with a Magna Cum Laude from RWTH Aachen, one of Germany’s top universities.

Abdulla has 10+ years professional experience in Managing and Consulting of Software Projects gained at multinational companies like Mercedes Benz, SAP AG and the World Exhibition Expo 2000. Being a Management Consultant, Abdulla worked as an advisor for customers like Pepsi Co. in the U.S., Vodafone in Malaysia and SABIC in Saudi Arabia.

In 2012, Abdulla initiated and founded enwani - a company, which focuses on addressing the world and offering the first address solution in the cloud. In 2013 enwani was internationally awarded by Sophia Business Angels in France on being the Most Investable Company 2013. In 2014 enwani was acquired by Careem (1# transportation App in the Middle East) and Abdulla joined the Careem team as CoFounder. In 2016 Forbes Magazine declaired Careem to be the biggest car hailing App and the fastest growing technology company in the Middle East.

Besides his professional career, Abdulla co-founded two social tech startups, islam.de in 1999 and waymo.net in 2002. In 2016 Abdulla was appointed to join the Saudi Arabian Small and Medium Enterprise Authority as a board
