Professor of Psychology, Canada Research Chair in Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, and Co-Director, Affect and Cognition Lab, Univ. of Toronto; research takes perspectives from body, brain and mind to understand adaptive nature of emotions. Launched to share insights from the brain for the well-being and adaptability of the mind. Recipient of awards: inaugural Templeton Prize in Positive Neuroscience; Distinguished Scientific Contributions Early Career Award, American Psychological Association.
