Adarsh T is a geographer from Trivandrum, which is the capital city in the state of Kerala.
He has an interest in physical geography, an environmentalist with a special interest in environmental conservation, a cartographer with an interest in geographic information systems, and a climate educator where he has focused on environmental education for youth in order to effect positive social change for a better future.
He is currently a full-time researcher (PhD) in geography. He is working as a member of the board of directors for the Climatehood Foundation (NGO) from 2019 onwards, where he focuses on environmental education for youth in order to effect positive social change for a better future.
He is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geography at the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit He completed master's degree in development studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Geography with the second highest rank under Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. A Post-Graduate Diploma in Geoinformation Science and Technology under the University of Kerala and a Master of Science in Geography under the University of Calicut with the second rank.
He is a certified cybercrime intervention officer (CCIO) from the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) which is India’s leading non-profit foundation advancing national cyber security, and a certified Climate Reality Project educator who has conducted sessions on climate change and sustainability at over 30 educational institutions (schools and colleges) in Trivandrum since 2018. He has extensive volunteer experience (more than 10+ years) at national and local events.
