Adjie Tirtakusumah

Alumni, Global Shapers Community

My name is Adjie Wicaksana Tirtakusumah, usually called Adjie. I am actively involved and known as young social entrepreneur, youth leader, speaker, and author. I was graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology, majoring Industrial Engineering. Now, I am currently continuing my study at Master in Social Entrepreneurship Program in University of Southern California, USA. I look myself as a long-life learner with visionary perspective.

I founded and developed some companies and organization, which most of them are set as profit-for-purpose company, such as Innovation for Community Development Center (ICDC Indonesia), Aosan Technology, and Socentra Institute. I also actively involved in some young leaders communities, such as Global Shapers Community by World Economic Forum, Ashoka Young Changemakers, and Bandung Social Innovator Circle.

Thankfully, my struggle in building social enterprise and spreading the social entrepreneurship values is well appreciated by many enitities, either as a personal or as an institutions which I developed. I awarded Indonesian Delegation for One Young World Summit (2012), Indonesian Delegation for Global Social Business Summit (2012), Ashoka Young Changemakers (2013), The Best Social Entrepreneur Awards from Social Entreprenuer Academy DD (2014), Danamon Social Entrepreneur Awards (2014), Mandiri Social Entreprenuer Award (2014), Global Shapers by World Economic Forum (2014), and some others.

Glad to be connected!
