I am a Biophysicist and Biomedical Engineer with expertise in medical imaging and minimally invasive devices, and multidisciplinary research interests at the intersection of physics, engineering, and medicine. I lead a research group to develop medical devices and novel imaging and sensing platforms, with expertise that spans biomedical optics, ultrasound, photoacoustic imaging, fibre optic sensors, and signal processing. I am fortunate to have been awarded First Grants from the Royal Society and from the EPSRC, a Starting Grant from the European Research Council, and most recently a Healthcare Technologies Challenge Award from the EPSRC.
