Formerly, Chairman, Cameroon-Nigeria mixed Commission, UN. Member of the International Advisory Board, Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life, Brandeis University. Author of books including: La Diplomatie Pyromane (1996); Burundi on the Brink (2000).
