Albert Rivera Díaz

Albert Rivera Díaz is a Spanish attorney and politician, holding the role of President of the political party Ciudadanos, the fourth most voted Spanish political party, currently supporting the national Spanish Government. Rivera served as a Member of the Parliament of Catalonia from 2006-2015. He has committed himself to anti-graft measures, reforming political inertia and upholding Spain's diversity, in addition to the fight against corruption. His firm defense of an alternative to the radical nationalism that has controlled regional government and fractured his native Catalonia over the last few decades, the search for the renewal of the obsolete and largely corrupt party system, and, overall, the will to build a future-looking, modern, strong, united Spain, fully integrated in a globalized world, are the main blueprints of his political beliefs.
