Alberto Flores is the CEO of The Social Food Co., a social business that feeds mentally and physically the underprivileged by selling organic and sustainable superfoods. In his social program he has fed a 1000 children and taught more than 400 hrs of emotional intelligence, team building and self confidence skills. He is also the CEO of Zambai Shack a concept acai bar that works as a cultural platform that promotes creative and culture industries.

As an agent of change, he has led several initiatives that creates a culture of innovation in his hometown Guayaquil. He has served in Fuck Up Nights, TEDx, Global Design Jam and Start Up Weekend, co-leading and bringing together an organic community of innovators.

He volunteered and became board member for Hope for Children of the World, a non-for-profit based in Florida that brings awareness to youth in the U.S. of the level of poverty in Latin America, where he raised funds to built ecological latrines and house floors to more than 50 underprivileged families in Nuevo Amanecer, Nicaragua.

Alberto worked in The Florida Senate, in Rene Garicia's District 40 as a Legislative Aide and in Miami-Dade County Carlos Jimenez Mayoral Race as an Assistant Territory Director, in both positions he engaged in the field to hear an act upon the constituent’s necessities to bring more jobs to South Florida. Furthermore, he got involved in Harvard Kennedy School with the Harvard University Mexican Association of Students in the Lab of Ideas, a social platform that aimed to connect undergrad and grad students from different backgrounds to share ideas and projects that could be incubated and redirect them to private and public sectors in Mexico avoiding brain drain from the country.

Alberto Flores holds a Dual Degree on International Relations and Political Science from Florida International University. He furthered his studies in Latin America Relations, National Security, International Commerce and Governance and Political Leadership.
